At two distinct times during the program, you will carry out rigorous written team and individual analyses based on real-life companies.
The HEC EMBA program
Two different projects (300 hours) allow you to put to immediate practical use the material you have learned in the classroom.
The CAP, conducted in a team of 5 to 8 participants during the first part of the program, is a strategic analysis of a company of your choice, along with resulting recommendations. It is done under the supervision of an advisor who offers guidance with regards to the methodological aspects of the project. The CAP leads to a written report and oral presentation in front of an appointed jury comprised of at least three members who are either faculty members or corporate executives.
The CAP consists of analyzing a company’s positioning in its industry, and formulating strategic recommendations. By completing this exercise, you will:
The written report must feature the audit results and conclude with strategic recommendations, supported by an action plan, which attests to the feasibility of the recommendations.
The FIP is an individual project conducted during the second part of the program which consists of recommendations for a key development aspect of your company or professional project.
It is also done under the supervision of an advisor who offers guidance with regards to the methodological aspects of the project. The FIP leads to a written report and oral presentation in front of an appointed jury comprised of at least three members who are either faculty members or corporate executives.
The company is not represented at this oral presentation, although you may provide the company with a copy of the report at a later date.
The capstone project of the Executive MBA program, the FIP will enable you to validate individually what you have learned during the program and to encapsulate this in a professional project. Your analysis will culminate in strategic recommendations substantiated by an action plan.
